Re: Anyone Had Front Struts Replaced?

I just installed the Monroe Quick-Struts on the front over the weekend. Its not too bad of a job to do if you think you can do it yourself. I ordered them from RockAuto and it was around $250 for both and shipping. Its worth buying it assembled IMHO. I would recommend replacing the sway bar links as...

Re: softening the ride?

I haven't seen mention this before, but due to an obnoxious failed state inspection I have ordered the Monroe Quick-Strut for my '03 GT. Its not a bad deal for the front and should be a relatively quick replacement. Has anyone else tried these?

Re: Battery & Headlights - Related issues?

Don't know about the battery, other than putting some grease on the terminals to slow the crud build up, but for the headlights I have found that all Sylvania brand bulbs have terrible life. They burn out too quickly, even the non-blind-oncoming-drivers bulbs I used to buy Sylvanias (which are the ...

Re: Battery & Headlights - Related issues?

What is the voltage across the battery terminals when the engine is running? There is a remote chance it could be overcharging. I'm not sure what the voltage is when its running. I would have to take it back to have it tested again, but overcharging could make sense. How much are you filling the ba...
