A/C, Recirculate illumination bulb.

I've been slowly re-lighting my interior, hazard, defrost, and HVAC bulbs... but cannot find a bulb for the A/C, recirculate switch. It appears to be the same size as the HVAC bulbs (it fits anyway) but is orange. GM couldn't find it, so looks like buying a whole switch may be my only option, I supp...

Re: time to replace teins?

had tokicos... all the seals blew out, was strapped for cash so went with the Staggs, only 30k on them at the most. perhaps they aren't geared to work with the Teins.

Re: Rough idle

i would also recommend using the NGK iridiums... disconnect the battery for a bit to reset the PCM. These things have worked for me... got 211,500 mi and still going strong.

Re: Rough idle

I had similar issues... removed the throttle body and cleaned it thoroughly as well as MAF sensor. Seems to help, if you had a leaky injector or plug issue... you would def know... these engines do idle a lil rough though regardless.

WATER LEAK

I have water leaking on the drivers side headliner where it joins the windshield pillar. It collects in the pillar and drips down onto the drivers seat, and gives me a shower when I accelerate... It only leaks when the car is sitting (in the rain obviously). Before I go tearing down the headliner. I...

Re: 2006 Vibe "moooooooing" noise

i been getting that same noise for years... never an issue... to me it always sounded like a really weak sounding horn. It does it as soon as I shift into park, and will go away as soon as I rev the engine a lil. My best guess... noisy electronics in the transmission, not faulty, just noisy... this ...

STAGG Struts

not sure if anyone has came across these... but STAGG SHS Struts seem to be a question on several other vehicle forums. They are about 150 bucks for the entire set and are supposed to be of higher performance caliber... If anyone has any positive feedback on these I would love to hear

Re: idle issue? (kfrost675)

Yeah the base vibe engine can be pretty stubborn at times. Mine did the same around 60k I removed the throttle body and cleaned it, that seemed to help some, but i also installed a spacer at the time, so not sure which one helped the most. Also i would change the plugs if you have not already, yeah ...

104k. and its auto, fluid is clean. i have drained and filled it about every 20 k. So if the pump is going, does that mean i'll need a new tranny, or is it something that can be repaired?

Chirpping!

I have the most annoying chirrping noise coming from the drivers side rear of the engine. (05 base model) It only does it at idle. and more so in gear. however the noise will fade and sometimes stop if it idles long enough. Anyone had this problem ?
