My wife and I absolutely love the look of this vehicle. also everyone I know who owns a Subaru is always praising the longevity of them. Might be priced a little high, but going to look at a few used ones in the next two years. Otherwise it will likely be a Chevy Trax for us.

Sorry to hear about your loss I also totaled my 2009 in October, in a different way though, a lady puled out right in front of me while I was doing forty mph and I t-boned her front axle. I also got more from insurance than what I paid for it mostly thanks to cash for clunkers and the Vibe's awesom...

My '09 currently has the VSC light flashing, ABS, E-Brake and Traction Control lights on. The garage I bought the car from told me it is due to a bad sensor in the right rear wheel bearing. They say once the part is replaced the lights will go off.

In the old days we used to just pop the drain plug, open the rad cap and stick a garden hose in there till it ran clear and topped up again with new coolant. Not very environmentally friendly I know. The only thing I will say about a coolant flush is do not buy the rad cleaner sold in the auto shops...

I just bought a Samsung WB600 at a local shop for $219 + tax. 12 megapixel, 15x Optical zoom, very easy to set up and just click away. Also has a manual mode if you want to use your own settings. Was highly recommended by a trusted seller.

It may lack creativity, but the wife and I call our '08 Abyss "Vibezie 2.0". My brother named it that because his ex had an '06 Wave blue he called Vibezie and ours was a newer model and better equipped so naturally, the version update.

I find I don't get nearly as many shocks from my Vibe as I did from my sunfires. But instead of buying a $20 grounding strap you could get 8" of light gauge chain from a hardware store and bolt it on the frame under the car. This would effectively ground you out for 85 cents or so.
