I don't understand what you mean by lock it in place? My rails tighten and basically lock in place and the rack is clamped to the rails so it doesn't move.

That 60' is horrid for an AWD vehicle but these motors don't produce squat for torque and I am guessing you are automatic. So that time is actually respectable for what the vehicle is.

No I do not Race MX. The number plate stickers are In Memory of my wife's cousin who raced MX and Snowcross. He passed away a few years back. As for what am I going to carry in the roof basket. A large cargo bag full of Camping gear/Luggage.

The Cargo Rack sits Forward due to clearance with Rear hatch opening.Picture shows the 1-3mm clearance between hatch and basket when hatch is open.

I had a noise (more coil bind sound) but sometimes pop in my front suspension. Ended up being the passenger side strut mount failing. Completely detached metal from rubber. Replaced only the strut mount. No more noises.

Sounds like a stabalizer link or ball joint from the description.My guess worn stabalizer link attaching to sway bar. Check it by grabbing firmly and shaking it around as hard as you can. It may make a clicking noise if the ball stud is worn in the link.

Most of the time in movies or tv shows if you pay attention they remove alot of the headrests if they can to clear viewing area for different camera angles.It looks like it has painted rear view door mirros so it has to be 05-08 model. My eyes and computer screen could be screwing with me though.

KYB struts are garbage unless they are AGX or a better model. That is unless your car has stock springs etc... They are fine for stock replacement but that is about it from my experience.

With respect to cops it is all going to be related to who the cop is, what area you are in, and if they are really pushing to bust people or not.If you get teh front driver and passenger windows tinted don't drive through Grand Blanc, MI. They love giving tint tickets.Not sure of a good shop by you.

2003 - 70,500 miles Currentlybought last year in May '08 with 28,000 miles on it.Just replaced the origional front brakes yesterday. Still on origional tires. They will be replaced before the snow flies.
