sounds to me like a internal tranny problem. clutches dont usually make loud noises when they go. as for the hood. my cable rusted and snapped right at the hood latch. its kinda hard to explain but you can put a screwdriver into the grill and hit the latch to the right to open hood. i havent bothere...

top 4 screws. i installed both of mine. its easier to leave it on. than to try and cover the holes. but if one has to go. the top would be less visible and easier to cover.

check which fuse is the hatch release. if not installed. put a fuse in then check voltage at the connector. usually car manufacurers will install the wiring for accessories weather you have them or not. saves money not having to make diffrent harnesses. .if youre handy you can buy a universal power ...

for some reason i was under the impression you were putting on stock scion headers. i will now assume since you got a cel. that they were infact aftermarket. do they delete a cat or something.do a search for cel fix exhaust . you can try a spark plug defouler 18mm mod it. put it on. it might fix you...

im not sure they will fit. but if you are .then no, you shouldnt get a cel as long as the o2 sensor(s) is in place . and there are no exhaust leaks.

i dont have a 09 but ordered the 2 spoiler package for my 03 and put it on myself. its not hard. measure twice drill once.i doubt its over an hour of labor.it took me 3 hours for 2 spoilers and i never did it before.and i checked my measurements about 4 to five times.

the factory cooler is in the radiator so less heat there might equate to cooler engine . also the ac condenser coil is on the radiator. but i doubt youll or your car could be able to feel that difference. my guess is tranny less hot. less heat being tranfered to cabin of car.

if he gets a whole hub with new bearings its pretty much undo reattach howerer you will have to undo the brakes. fair bit of work but not hard. besides proper torque specs anyone fairly capable should be able to do it.

totaly roadworthy. just a few little things that (removed) you off. but in reality things could be much worse.my motorcyle gets all my attention now. vibe gets lonely in the cold dark garage rusting away.

if you check http://www.newcelica.org. youll find that toyotas ecu's hate narrow band emulations from widebands. they almost never work without a cel i think it has to do with the reading rate.. but on other cars works fine. it cost like 25 bucks to get a bung welded in at your local muffler shop.ke...

even if i lived in your town. i wasnt going to drive on broken springs. i exagerrated a little i have a garage(not heated) so i wasnt frostbitten. just very annoyed. i work outside in the winter sometimes so i had warm enough work clothes. but it still wasnt fun.i done mabey half a dozen spring jobs...

im with you on the telescopic high beams sucking. id get the hid low/ halogen high setup. plus that way if your ballast burns out at least youll still have highbeams in an emergency. plus the telescopic part breaks often mine did.

jp midpipe is 2.25 the cat is farther back to prevent burnup(some stock cats have from the extra heat. and 1 resonator instead of 2.

heis refering to any power that turns off when you turn the car off. ie your lighter plugs and such. if you want to be able to use the gps with the car off. you could use the maplight power which is always on.you just have to remember to turn it off so you wont drain your battery.
