?? Towing a U-Haul 4x6 trailer (850# empty) with my Vibe?

I've got a 2005 front wheel drive with a 5 speed manual trans. U-Haul's 4x6 trailer is 850# empty, and only 4' tall (not taller than the roof line of the Vibe). I don't have much heavy stuff to put in it, just a 1 bedroom apartment worth of stuff to split between the trailer and the car - clothes, d...

help please...... one wiper not working

I'm 1000 miles from home and unable to look at this myself, so if anybody could help out, I would appreciate it. My wife said she was pulling on the passenger side wiper getting ice off it and something made a "pop" noise. Now the passenger side wiper only works "sometimes". The ...

what to do - 100,000 mile / 5 year maintenance?

My Vibe is fast approaching 100,000 miles. I haven't had to do a thing to it except change the oil, change the tires, and change the windshield wipers.Do I need to be considering some tune-up items - plugs, wires, fuel filter, coolant flush, etc.? I don't have a manual to look at, so I don't have a ...

New look for my Vibe, have a look

I had some work done on my Vibe. The driver side was repaired from my crash on New Year's Even - two new doors and then some. The passenger side was keyed last year, so it was repainted from fender to fender. And the hood / front bumper were all stone chipped, so they were repainted as well. The ent...

As far as fixing it, I'm not sure yet exactly what will be done, but I'm not taking it to the $5500 shop. I'll probably end up with two used doors. They can save the rear 1/4 panel and just push that dent out. And they can save the structure inside the rear door that is dented up with a little work ...

With mostly used parts, the estimate came in at $5500. $500 for a new front bumper cover. $500 for a new wheel. $300 each for two fender flar...

I've had it with these stupid stock tires being so noisy! Time for something a little quieter. My (wife's) Vibe is a daily driver and long trip vehicle.
