Yep, I did the same as smash.....$148.I got 2 free months and an additional 100 minutes on the phone too for free..so $148 for 14 months and 100 free phone minutes. Came out to like $12.50/mo...if you take the two extra months into consideration it works out to @10.57/mo.

If the car has DFCO, then yes. However, being in gear will scrub speed off faster than coasting with the motor off. To be honest, I'm not sure of the vibe/matrix/corolla has DFCO. I think it does but i'm not sure

I hypermile my 09. Check my sig for results. Nothing crazy but I do employ some tactics:FASDWLMomentum driving(stayin off the brakes)running high PSI.Not speeding or flooring it.Super smooth on accel/decellShut it down at traffics lights where i know i am gonna have to wait for more than 10 seconds....

I have a 09 1.8 manual and my COMBINED is just above 33MPG(check my sig for more details)I use the following hypermiling techniques:ICE on coasting--coast in neutral with the engine on so as not to loose your momentum like you would in gear.FAS--Forced Auto Stop--turning off your engine and coasting...

I don't agree with those numbers. I am seeing about 33 combined MPG with my 09 vibe. For comparison, I owned a 06 G6 4 cyl for 2+ years before buying the vibe. It averaged about 28 mpg combined over the exact same route. Have a look at the link in my sig for a more detailed breakdown of my 09s milage.

Warranties should be handled by GM.The only real problem I see is getting replacement body parts. My 09 was wrecked a few months ago and needed both passenger side doors replaced. It took almost a month for the parts to arrive and they shipped straight from the supplier--meaning there is no inventor...

That's funny...we traded in our 06 G6 on our 09 vibe. We really liked our G6, it just wasn't versatile enough(needed a hatchback). The G6 was a great car that we had no problems with over 45,000 miles. You get the I4 or the V6?Good luck and enjoy the G6!

Good luck getting 29-30 mpg out of the 2.4 ecotec with the auto though. I would know...I had an 06 G6 that had that drive train and it would only get 26 or so on my 60 mile daily commute(90% hwy/10% city). I could get 30 out of it pure hwy. Thing was pretty powerful though, for a 4 banger.
