I had my vibe since Oct 2009 and is currently @ 35,000kms. I haven't done any maintenance beside oil change, tire rotations and a wheel alignment at around 28,000kms... Yes, I am aware of the 1500lb limit, but probably a good idea to stay under 1000lb IMO...I heard is pretty stressing to the car, what can I do to minimize this?

Well, according to that letter notice from Toyota is a complete gas pedal replacement and looks like no re-enforcement is added on, so that would mean is a new design.... Is likely better than the re-enforcement add-on...

Ok, so i was careless and lightly scraped the edge of my factory Chrome Clad 17in rims during a turn (hit the sidewalk)... Is the rim shown in my signature below...It didn't scrape any of the chrome! So quit lucky...but the edge of the rim, it did get scraped and seems like it starting to rust or so...

Ok, so it has been a cold winter and today, it finally warms up!I didn't feel the shaking before, but today, with fairly warm weather, I feel the car shakes at highway speed....Does sudden change in temperature cause havoc with tire balance? As some of you know, some of the 2009 Vibe have paint chip problem on the rear hatch and a internal TSB has been issued.I recently had the repair done by GM at there cost and the picture below is what it looks like after the repair.... Oh, I also install a new spoiler!!! The car look so much better!...
