Re: Brake Lines: Opinions Wanted

06 base, no ABS, 185k on it brakes are good up from with about 50% left and rotors are fine with appearance of normal wear. Rear drums have never been replaced. I will be checked the fluid reservoir tomorrow though. I've never replaced or added new fluid.

Brake Lines: Opinions Wanted

Has anyone ever changed their brake lines? If so, did you just replace with the rubber lines or upgrade to a stainless steel setup? I'm going to try and bleed the brakes here soon and thinking of replacing the lines if the mushy feeling still exists. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

My turn to upgrade the suspension!

Everyone else is doing it, so why right me lol. After 184,000 miles on the OE shocks, struts, springs, and mounts, I finally decided to upgrade. I went with the Tokico Blue's and Tein S.Tech. I've seen so many run that setup and be extremely happy with the results that I figured that's what I would ...

I don't know if this is a fact or just something that has been true with everyone I've spoke with, but putting an aftermarket stereo in place of a factory stereo (esp a base model) you will definitely get better sound. Yes that guy is trying to screw you over. The adapter for the M&T is $30 at Crutchfield and it's the PAC model. When I got my HU, it was $50 and the Schosche (sp?) model. Just ensure that you are getting the correct one for the M&T and not just the base stereo though. There are some members ...

If i were you, I would simply put the enclosure on craigslist or go to a local shop and look for a trade. That definitely sounds awesome to be able to have that much control over the setup with the Kenwood you are looking at.
