First question is the interior pieces that I've painted (check my garage in the sig), I'm I need to redo the clear coat on them. What grit should I use in order to either remove the clear without harming the finish or is there a certain method or what should I do?Second question is I'm probably goin...
Well, I've got 141K on the 06 and by the time it hit my actual 5 yr mark, I will easily have 150K. That being said, I'm glad this thread popped up bc I've gotta get mine change... it's never been changed before **hides in corner**
I think I have only 2 bulbs that have not been switched over to leds yet and those are the outlet indicator and the... hmm... not sure. I can't remember what bulb type it is. Check under the interior bulb list thread and it is probably listed there. If not check sylvania or simply measure it.
What would the feasibility of converting the fog lamp to a dual intensity or filament lamp? Basically, if I turn my brights on, the fogs get brighter as well. I currently have it setup to run my fogs whenever the parking light is on. I also have aftermarket lamps in there as well. I know it would in...
(removed)!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I didn't think of that!!!! And the fact you spouted all that off from memory without a computer in front of you, BRAVO Joatman!!!!!!!!!!!!
But if he has 50 states that he's going through, then he'll also have to have 50 cells to look at rather than have all the information in either one cell or listed together based on how many actually meet the criteria of the highest. Not familiar with Pivot Tables at all lol. Here is code out on the w...
If you are wanting it to pull and of the matching hgih states in one cell, you probably will have to get into the VB side of things (if OpenOffice does that) bc as far as I know, that will be way more complex than a formula can pull since it will probably end up in a circular reference error. If you...
This is probably one of my earliest childhood memories. I was in preshool and we all just got laid down on our cots for our naps. I remember all the teachers and staff watching the tv. I was watching it as well due to the direction I was facing and watched the explosion. Next thing I remember was he...
Check this link out. Somewhere closer to the bottom i've listed the bulb types that you can get on SuperBright that work for the instrument panel. I'm sure that one of those bulbs would prob fit it. Although I'm not sure as I don't have the cig lighter.
swapping to a led will be perfectly fine. The only issue is the polarity. You will need to make sure you have the led plugged into it correctly before you put everything back together. the difference in power is big, but for the better. that one led will use a fraction of the power that the standard...
There's a site that I bought my driver side fender well from and although it was thinner, it still does the trick and was cheap!! I just can't for the life of me remember the site It was on another thred quite a while ago and that's where I went.***edit***tadahttp://www.partsgeek.com/mmpar....html
When I replaced my pads, I went with Duralast Gold from Autozone. I've really liked them and have used them on several of my cars in the past. Good grip, relatively low fade, and minimal dust.
Something that I've seen on ebay but have been reluctant to try is decals for the fretboard on guitars. Apparently it's an overlay or something that goes on the individual frets, however still holds up to regular play. Being able to request something custom like that would be interesting. Also, what ...

There are several member on here who disagree with certain types of mods done to other Vibes. Their express their opinions as well. The difference is, it's done tastefully. Typically they will give their statement followed by their opinion without trashing the person. They typically will not trash t...
The big issue with the rear light housing is you can't open it like the headlamps. It's plastic welded or whatever the proper term is. I was going to partake on a LED tail lamp project, but things have gotten in the way.Are they making blank SMD boards now? If so that's awesome!!! Guess I gotta star...
It's been a while since I've been dealing with LEDs, but I think the problem with SMDs is finding a board. I never looked too hard, but I always found traditional board. Granted you could probably still get them to work, but I'd imagine the efficeincy would be greater if you were to find and SMD spe...
My dad is an electrician, for 30+ years, and he is color blind. His isn't completely black/white/gray, but with the complexity of the wiring in factories, I don't know how he does. Nonetheless, that was pretty funny.
Not yet. I've been noticing more and more ppl flashing their bright due to my fogs. Right now I'm trying to determine if I want to tint the fogs minus the led section or slap in a 36 white led tower in there and then put the bright single blue led in the small spot. That will prevent the blue one fr...
I wouldn't say it's a moot point. Your post is a very valid post regardless of the state. People just need to check the laws prior to doing anything. I would hope that even members from Indiana would still do the research on their own to verify what I'm saying and not just take my word. I think it i...
Welcome to Indiana where you can ride with you blue lights on without a care. The state statutes does not say anything about having forward facing blue lights being illegal. I have passed and drove behind cops with my halos on plenty of times. Our statutes state that you cannot have a red, red &...
Oh, i think it's pressure loaded for a lack of better terms. there is a wire or clip or something that you have to get undone on one side then it swings open. then the bulb will be lose and you can pull it out from there.

I'm def going to do the LEDs now since I'm having probs with the LED in the fog housing. Hopefully I'll be able to get some extra money soon and be able to get it done before it gets too cold out.
ANother thing just popped into mind. If you are paying a general person and they are paying all of the the bills, buy a receipt book and make him fill out a reciept everytime you give him ANY kind of bill money. It may seem pety, but it could def help you out if things fall through.

Something like this? http://accessories.musiciansfr...32600Not sure exactly what size the "mini" is that they are referring to, but I think that looks about right. If not I'm sure you can get another adapter to convert to the correct size.
If you plan on painting your headlamps, I would highly recommend getting projectors instead of just bare HID's. Going black would diminish the light output greatly, even going with HIDs. Now if you slap projectors in there, then there are no worries of course. I think there are a few others who have...
