You can try without a puller but... it is quite tightly pushed in once screwed and with watter .. rust can make it even harder to remove it by hand.I missed your post about the alternator ... what are you looking for?

here a copy paster of http://www.chiltondiy.com.Install the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt using J 8614-01 to prevent crankshaft rotation when tightening the bolt. Tighten the bolt to 105 ft. lbs. (142 Nm).

Well, I bough the gasket kit but it's way too cold to do the work in the garage so I'll have to wait in spring.I'll take some pics and the steps when I'll start the job.cheers

Ahhh, another mod done I used a 2 jaws puller (4 inch). It was preaty easy to pull.I didn't see a big difference (compared to the CAI) but it might help to free some HP with other mods.Next mod: emanage piggy back.

There's nothing wrong with the head. It's just the gasket is leaking oil outside firewall side (nothing major). The leak is outside only (no black smoke, weird odor). It might only be a couple of bolt that were not torque correctly but I prefer to do the job right and replace the hole gasket.Once op...

Sorry, I didn't explain myself correctly: I meant: What is the maximum HP attainable with all those mods (plus a turbo).I though going 250 but since the AWD/tranny wouldn't support it, what would the the max HP/torque and PSI setting.

Loll, I knew I should have gotten a volvo S40 T5 AWD loll! But my girlfriend wanted the vibe (because the volvol's trunk was a bit too small for camping equipment).I'll have to do some research on specs of the AWD to know how much it can handle

Sorry, I'm french and I was thinking an underdrive pulley was another way of naming a crank pulley.So underdrive pulley means the diameter is smaler than the OEM pulley.And when changing to another pulley, the vibrational dampener is removed automaticaly (either case of underdrive or OEM)Sorry about...

Yes I do have a 04.The other vacuum solenoid got 2 inlets. Does it matter which one to connect to?I've tried the closest, reset the ECU, no more ODB code, no check engine, no rough idle!!Cheez!! Well, I've learned a lot: Always label you tubes if disconnecting more than 1, learned how to clean a TB....

Hi guys, I tried to look for this info but not available to find it: I got a Vibe 2004 automatic AWD and was looking for a supercharger.It seems it's not available fow AWD.So you know the reason?If it's not available, then the only thing left is turbo right?Thanks
