Re: I think I was robbed of a mirror cover!

I just got in from walking my dog and there was a pre 2009 Vibe parked on the street. I noticed that the door mirrors have a different configuration than mine. I think maybe the 2009-2010 models may be the only ones with a mirror cover like that? Tpollauf I'm not sure what year yours is, you may wan...

There is also this on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-for-Yaris-Corolla-Matrix-Side-Mirror-Cover-Toyota-09-/200695797314?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eba66d642&vxp=mtr I though about it, but I don't think the chrome wouldn't go well with my plain Jane Base Vibe model....

Re: I think I was robbed of a mirror cover!

I was told by my local dealer, who quoted me the $86 + tax, that it just snapped into place. I had also asked him how much the labor would be to install.

It is seen in the attached file at the #4 location.

Re: I think I was robbed of a mirror cover!

Thanks for your reply and assistance. I bit the bullet and found it online at gmpartsdirect.com for $64.32 shipped. That was the best price I could find. I kept hoping one (maybe mine?) would show up on eBay somehow. I guess I should be thankful that in these economic times I can afford to buy a rep...

Anyhow, I have a grey Vibe, so it's GM Part # 19184632, just in case you want to see what I'm talking about.

I think I was robbed of a mirror cover!

So, I live on a main street and have to park my Vibe on it. I went out this morning and discovered that my mirror cover was missing. At first I thought I was hit on that side, since it was the driver's side. But, there was no other damage to the car, or the mirror. Just the cover was missing. I wond...

I really need help with this question.I recently had an accident with a truck tire on the highway. Darn retreads.Anyways, it caused over 1300 damage to my 2009 Base Vibe with manual stick. After the accident, something was hanging from my undercarriage and the estimator said it was my "engine co...

Maybe I should elaborate on this.I would like to go to a paintless dent remover and have the ding repaired, and then have the area painted. The dealer is telling me the only way to correctly do this is to repaint the entire door, and perhaps blend the rear door too for a good color match. The dent is ...

My new Vibe looks like someone took a shot at it with a BB Gun. There is a perfectly round ding, with the paint chipped off the center. It was hit just once, right below the door handle. The estimate to repair it is $262 for the dent removal and for the door to be repainted. It's $448 if the rear doo...

I have been getting over 33 mpg consistently. Last tank was 33.20 to be exact. The car has about 1100 miles on it. I hope it improves as it breaks in more. This is with mostly city driving and going at least 70 mph on the highway. The AC is always on too; not the max setting (usually the 2nd or 3rd ...
