With these tires, sliding, turning, acceleration, the way the vehicle drives are all predictable. If I were to leave these systems on the car would try to correct a problem that doesn't exist or interfere when not expected to. Interesting??? Just a tip....I had to learn early on... that I have to be very gentle on the gas pedal....i.e. keep a very light foot on it when starting from a stop.

I'm not sure if this is just how the Vibe is, so I'll see what you guys say. Compared to my old Grand Am, and even my GF's 2010 Corolla, my 2009 Vibe has really poor traction from the front wheels. It's not uncommon for them to slip on wet pavement or even the slightest bit of snow where other cars...

What's weird is I never got a recall notice on my 09. I only got one to replace a seat belt part on my 03. Did you buy the 2009 VIbe ..brand new from a dealer?.....or Used?.....You can go to a dealer (Buick) to check if yours has Recall notices pending..... There are new recalls as well in the past...

I found the Ignition Pin by turning the key on, and probing all of the sockets in the OEM connector until I found one with 12 Volts. Then I turned the key off, and verified the voltage went away. I had to remove the pin with the Red wire from the Metra connector, but I broke the pin in the process....

I hope you tighten all the nuts easily, equally, and evenly before you begin the torquing of each bolt. Perhaps that one nut/bolt was over tighten before you torqued it.

You can use one of the screws from the OEM radio...perhaps....

I am surprised that you didn't get a system with a CD player and perhaps Navigation.

They still make those power antenna boosters? I have not seen one since the 70's Did you try to program the radio with the Local/Distance options? What is the new Radio Brand?....Model? I just installed the Jensen VX7020....only because of the low price...plus I had to add a $120 Onstar interface kit.

Perhaps you can add a small spacer block to the back half of the camera's mounting flange to force the camera to view more down the road. You have to tilt it up a bit... so that the vertical line match or parallel the edge of the asphalt along the grass.

You should place a reference line on the road/or your driveway. Backup to align the lines and then go back there and measure with a ruler from the bumper to the reference line. Then write the numbers down and just keep them in the car. Your numbers looks like 1.5 meters etc..... I don't have any num...
