Use a clay bar. You can get them at any auto store, if it doesn't work you may need a more aggresive clay bar but I don't think they sell them in stores.

Even though I haven't posted much here I've always liked the fact that when you have a question you get an answer. One of the things I really like is that there aren't a bunch of foul mouthed little punks on here discussing how much better there car is compared to the other.

That sucks, when I wrecked my vibe I was quoted 14,000 dollars to repair so it was totaled out.

I always clay my windows when I clean my car. It's a great way to get rid of water spots and to make the window smooth.

It's for sure a cheap car to own. I had 110,000 miles on mine before I totaled it and all I had to do in change one set of brake pads and one set of tires.

looks broken, I let jiffy lube replace my cabin filter once then a couple years later I did it myself and saw what they broke that same piece on mine. They also didn't put the right filter in, it was jammed and crushed.

Me and another forum member will be attempting to do the install in about an hour. I really hope I don't do something stupid like break a clip on the bumper or not be able to get it aligned.

I know what you mean, I scraped my hands to hell trying to put my hids in the first time without removing the bumper. I'm going to do it the right way tomorrow and remove the bumper and headlights. It also sounds like it's a lot harder to get that rear piece of the 3 than it is the vibe.

Re: Headlight Film? (06pvibe)

With the bulk pack you can take a sheet and just lay it over and squeegy all the bubbles out and then trim it the excess away. The precut will involve to much stretching and will be harder to line up. I also recommend a heat gun for putting film on the vibe. Get the bulk pack and it will save you a ...

quick detailer is for quick cleanups in between washes. sort of a waterless car wash when you have a light dusting, and spray wax is just an easier way to quickly wax your car.

If your concerned with getting the engine heated up faster you might want to consider a block heater. It would also probably be a good idea to do a good wash, clay, and wax before winter.

I own a mazda 3 and can say it's a joy to drive. If you are concerned about gas mileage then you should go with the vibe because the 3 with the 2.3 is know for very poor gas mileage. I used a claybar on my window trim and it worked really well but I wouldn't use a scotchbrite pad on any part of the car. Mothers back to black is ok, but when I had my vibe I used chemical guys fade to black and have been very impressed with it.
