Well I picked up a 21mm 3/8 socket, and it fits fine. It really pissed me off that Craftsman only offers 12pt in this size if you want to buy a single socket. Lug Nut Socket Size?

My wife got me a 3/8 tourque wrench for christmas, and I bought a 13/16 3/8 deepwell socket to use for the vibe lug nuts. For some reason the 3/8 socket will not fit. The 1/2 drive socket that is 13/16 fits though.Does anyone know what size 3/8 deep socket fits the lug nuts? I searched but found not...

Basically I just want something that looks factory, like on a SVT Focus with the HID kit. I had those on my Focus along time ago...

If you tested the oil level after putting in the new oil, I don't think it would take too long to show on your dipstick you have WAY too much oil in...

Well I got her done, no problems. I bought 4 filters from Toyota to ahve for my car and the wifes. I went with Mobil 1 full synthetic. I also threw in a can of seafoam in the gas and filled up. The car is running way better than when I first got it. Probably just all broken in and ready to go..Next ...

I can't really decide what to do. Take it to the dealer? Take care of it myself? I have a 6 year 100k warranty on the car, and don't want to risk voiding it, but I am thinking I'd like to run sythetic in this car since I will be driving it for a very long time. What do you guys think??

Any primer will work. If I was you I would go to Orielly's and get some bulldog adhesion promoter too. You spray that on immediately before primer. It helps paint stick to plastic...

Just use a red or gray scuff pad from 3m. Unless you are going for a 100 smoth finish to a textured piece, there is no reason to use actual sandpaper..the scuff pad will do the job, and will not tear up your parts..

This was a feature on my old ford focus, my dad acciently broke the switch off when we were working on the car, and so he just wired the two wires together. I never had to press the clutch to start again. Maybe this would work the same way? I am sure all that flip switch does is complete a circut......

My Visor hits the rear view

Has anyone else noticed this? I don't have a sunroof, so I have the map lights on my rear view. I can't put the visor all the way to the windshield without having it bump the rearview out of the way. This really pisses me off and its an obvious engineering mistake. The same thing happend on the vibe...
