Re: Ignition wiring help

No reason to post this in 3 separate threads. Here are the wire colors for the ignition harness. You really should use 3 toggle switches (2x ignition, 1x accessory) and 1 momentary switch for the starter. But you can probably get away with putting the 2 ignition wires together on a single toggle bec...

Re: Subwoofer replacement and wiring.

If the OEM setup is already wired for a DVC sub, you'll need to replace it with another DVC sub. Do you know or do you have a multimeter to check the impedance of the OEM sub? If you're happy with the sound it produces, why not just repair the surround with some gasket sealer or something similar?

When you cycle the AC button on the dash, can you hear the AC compressor kick on? As stated, it might be low levels of coolant, but you might also need to replace the relay that controls the compressor. Had to do that a couple years back when mine was doing the exact same as you describe. It would w...

I assume you checked with a multimeter at the fog light and aren't getting power at all? There is a relay between the switch and the fog lights themselves. Not sure exactly where it is, but it's either under the dash or under the hood.

Wow, there's a lot going on with that relay diagram. Honestly, you shouldn't need a relay. If it's being pulsed ground, that means there's already an OEM relay that converts it to +12v to the glass-release motor in the hatch. So, you should just be able to take the red/white of the 4103 directly spl...
