I hate when dealerships plaster their stickers and license plate frames all over a new car. First mod I always do is remove the advertising. At least these days it's a sticker and not riveted to the car.

Almost looks like a bullet hole. I got a bunch of pits in my windshield after 3 years figure I will replace it this spring after all the sand is gone from this winter.

Here is a picture of me and the wife on our 04' Shadow Sabre and another one of me on the right coming back to Colorado from Montana last summer. The motorcycle is the reason the Vibe doesn't have that many miles on it.

I wouldn't, you are trying to put a tire that is 12.5 inches wide on a rim width half that size! The best width for that size tire is 10" but will work down to an 8" without bowing the tread too much. Are you going to put a 12" lift on your Vibe?

Mine was easy (unbolt, install, rebolt). Of course I did mine the same time I lowered it, so everything was taken apart already. But it isn't too involved.

I just changed my oil yesterday with my second round of Mobil 1. They sell the 5 quart jug at Sams Club for just under $20. A few bucks cheaper than it's cousin Wal Mart.

Got my car back yesterday and she looks good as new. The body shop "mis-placed" my tear down pool cue while it was being repaired so that sucks. They cut out the bad part weld in the new one and then put it on some kind of "laser" rack that will tell the tech how to "bend" it back to factory specs. I'm assuming it will be ok. Double armrest came standard on my 04 GT and I even got a cool ashtray to fit in one of the cupholders. I don't smoke but it holds change real good.

A guy at work just told me about something called "Diminished Value". I guess the insurance will pay me for the diminished value of my car after it has been repaired. Yep, the all wheel drive would have been nice here in Colorado and the cool fold out tent option for the Aztek would have been nice for camping. I like to be able to drive the speed limit and not get pointed at for driving something out of Battlestar Galactica.

I remember when I was buying my Vibe the dealer was trying real hard to get me to buy the Aztec and it would have been cheaper. Didn't like the look then and still don't today.

I also had the pop sound when the window would go down. Tightened the loose bolt on the bottom of the window frame and all is good. Maybe the rattle is from the bolt having fell off and is rolling around in the bottom of the door frame?

Well it's been 3 weeks in the body shop and I was expecting to pick my car up today. The shop called me and it will be another week before it is completed. I guess $6k worth of damage takes a little while to fix.

So my latest wreck that went through Progressive should show up. Speaking of the wreck I get my car back this Friday. Hooray! no more car pooling. There has been too much snow on the roads for me to ride my motorcycle. So it will be nice to get the Vibe back.

Don't they have a website like Carfax in Canada? We bought a 96 Pathifinder and the dealer gave us a Carfax history report when we bought it. It had every oil change, car registration, change of owenership and location even a body shop visit.

I ran the wires under the carpet by the doors and when I put the trim piece back on it caught the wire and pulled enough of the shiel...

I hit a pile of snow once and it bent the heat shield by the exhuast pipe under the center of the car. Every time I would accelerate the rattle would get worse. I bent the shield back and the rattle stopped.

Lucky for you the hub center is the same size or you might start getting some vibration when they settle in. No problems with rubbing or turning? I thought the Subaru offset was something like 55mm and the Vibe was around 40mm.
