I don't know about the stand alone blu-ray players but my ps3 upconverts extremely well, you might as well get rid of your dvd player too if you plan on getting a blu-ray player. It should look fine on your tv, the only thing bad about older ones is that they tend to have poor contrast and brightness.

The cheapo ones still function and look beautiful, the difference between dvd and blu-ray is insane. I've seen feed from a cheapo (99 dollar) target special and from my ps3 and there wasn't any noticeable difference. What kind of tv do you have?

Might look into energy motor mounts, they help more than you could ever imagine and only make it vibrate a tiny bit more at idle. It keeps the wheel hop and engine movement away. I would assume forged rods/(lower compression) pistons and you should be good. If you want to run some serious boost you could have the block sleeved. As for octane booster...don't use it. If you want to run serious boost just do a water/meth injection setup, they aren't REAL expensive but you need ...

Check your pressure in the lines, if it's too low then it wont let the clutch engage. Might be the same if it's too high as well. I would check that first and if it's low then have it recharged and you'll be good to go.
