Actually that is the vacuum actuator for the little trap door that opens on the airbox when you hit lift. You don't need it with the new intake. I think with my K&N I had to relocate it and hook the electrical connection back up but not the vacuum lines. Just make sure you have all the vac lines...

How many miles do you have? Do you have an auto tranny? If so check the fluid level and make sure its clean and doesn't stink. Sometimes the pumps will chirp when going bad.

I messed up my rear bumper last night.

Well I'm pretty upset that I finally did some real damage to my Vibe. I was backing out of my garage and hit the corner of my trailer that was hooked up to my Blazer. I was barely moving but that's all it took for the corner to punch right through my bumper. I damn near cried when I did it. Soo frus...

Bad Oxygen Sensor at 14k miles

Hey guys, I have an 06 GT with 14,000 miles. The oxygen sensor is bad already and I was wondering if its a common problem on these cars. I searched the site and didn't find anything to say it was but I figured I'd ask. The code just popped up after not driving the car for most of the winter. The fir...

The engine cover will be painted abyss. More than likely the intake tube will be painted abyss as well. I don't like loud colors all over the engine compartment. My Vibe kinda has that dark theme going with it. Most everything will be black.
