Re: AC Valve Leaking Low Side

Here is the Temp fix, going to have the valve replaced or do myself shortly.

The line is sealed at the valve after the gauge, will obviously not hold long term.

Re: HOW TO: convert spare tire well for REAL jack

The Harbor Freight 2 Ton Compact Trolley Jack will fit in the cargo compartment with zero mods. ...... Thank you for sharing. The only concern is the short warranty (90 days). It appears some of the units suffer from "infant mortality", if purchasing I would suggest to leave it under load...

The Harbor Freight 2 Ton Compact Trolley Jack will fit in the cargo compartment with zero mods. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-compact-trolley-jack-68783.html You can dremel off some plastic or grind the wheel "wings" on the jack, but is not necessary. Some of the plastic ribs on the c...

Re: Best All-Season Tire?

I have 25K on a set of Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring, they are perhaps the best tire I ever purchased. The CS5 on the Vibe can corner at almost the same speed as my '92 911 on Michelin Pilots. http://www.tractionnews.com/how-good-is-cooper-cs5-ultratouring-v-grand-touring/ http://www.motortrend.com/news/...

Valvoline Max Life Full Synthetic has treated me well after the last drain and fill. My temps are rarely below 32*, so no cold data.

Re: Need hid help....

Vibes an 07. It's a HIDnation high low kit. 35w 4300K. All I ordered was bulbs and ballasts. Never needed anything else in my other vehicles. Maybe this one does? If you are not running a separate harness with relays for both high/low that is your problem. Build or order a proper harness, but stay ...

I believe this may be your part:http://www.partsgeek.com/catal....htmlI have no idea what the OEM part number is, but I need one too and that's the only place I've found them. For research purposes, the correct link fort the lower piece called a "Bumper Grille Insert" is: http://www.parts...

Note, these are 6 LED lights vs. the 8 LED also available.

If you cut off the end of the unit and seal it up it fits in the opening.

1 other option would be to apply 15+ plus volts to the motor via the wire harness, in case the motor is "stuck".

Re: The wife has to ride in the back!

Hi guys, sorry for leaving you high and dry here. I haven't had internet access the last 2 days. Thanks for all the replies! The question was asked about the lock switch moving freely. It does not move freely, I can force it to push halfway to the unlock position, but there is definitely resistance...

Re: The wife has to ride in the back!

Feel free to ask for any other info, I rebuild the actuators as a hobby so if you need one let me know.

I would probably resort to drilling the actuator spindle if you determine it is stuck/wedged.

Re: The wife has to ride in the back!

Hey guys! I have a 2004 Vibe and my passenger side door lock is... well... locked. It is stuck in the locked position and will not unlock with the fob, the key, or manually trying to flip the lock. All the other door locks lock and unlock freely, this is the only one jammed. Because the door is loc...

New '07, base radio, absolute terrible FM reception - almost like no antenna. I have removed antenna and it gets slightly worse, but not dramatically. Will speak with dealer but figured I would check here first.

(removed) '07 Rear View Mirror

On non sun roof equipped vehicles the drivers visor hits the rear view mirror in virtually any position. It is a major pain and this is obviously a safety and recall issue, anyone have any info?
