Remove the sails and door panel. The stock tweeter is mounted on a bracket you can take out easily, unscrew the tweeter from the bracket and jb weld the new tweeters in the same location. Works great for 3/4" tweeters, might not for larger ones.

Livin' loud with power from the Gods!

Received my new amp week ago or so. Its a Hifonics Brutus BXi 1206D, I picked this because it pushed the exact watts I was looking for (1200W RMS @ 1ohm). Got my subs wired up double parallel, hooked um up to the multimeter .94 ohm total impedance. I was skeptical this amp would hold up because ther...

Best road ever?

In NC/SC a while ago for family matters, found an awesome road bordering a big lake up there with crazy hairpins and lots of elevation changes. The road was way to narrow to drive how I was and 90% of the area houses are vacation homes and were relatively un-occupied but there are a lot of um and th...

Yeah now that I look at it I'm not sure just re-routing the belt will work because the tensioner isn't over far enough, don't know how adjustable it is though. But hey 2 hp is a lot for the what 30 bux for a belt? vs 10 out of a $200 CAI or 10 from a $400 exhaust set-up. I will look at it more tomor...

Anyone done an A/C delete?

You may laugh but I live in central Florida and never use it. Summer time the temps only reach the high 90's lol, I just prefer the windows down. Well this is how I see overdrive, its a different unit in a lot of trucks and earlier cars but I'm sure its not in out transaxles. But it is independent from the normal 4 or 5 gears and when off provides a 1:1 ratio between the transmission and the wheels when on it makes a slightly higher ratio (th...

Hi. I have a 2004 base Vibe and just purchased a set of drilled and slotted rotors with some EBC RedStuff pads. I was trying to remove the rotors and after banging on them repeatedly and taking the torch to them and banging some more I still couldn't remove them. It really does look like the hub and...
