Well, the Toyota 84140-02200 fits just like the OEM Pontiac however...the Toyota fog light switch can only be turned to the on position if you have the headlights in the manual on position. Sounds line you are eluding to the turn signal lever? I will add to your diagnosis that I was occasionally having an instance where my hi beams would be on when I start the car in the am. The replacement passenger side axle blew apart at the joint. He put the original back in it for testing purposes. It was fine when I had it replaced (being proactive since it had 188k on it). The mechanic wants to rule out if it was a bad part by driving the original one around for a couple of weeks...

Does anyone know if the 03-08 Corolla Matrix hood release cable is the same as the one for the -03 -08 Vibe? I know the hood latch assy is the same. I found a Dorman 912-065 on Amazon.com that looks similar for ~$19. Doing a Vibe specific search shows 1 for ~$41.

Looks like HottExhaust has their own branding of the tubing since I see a 3rd option for the catalytic converter assembly with their description "Magnaflow Core-Hottexhaust Tubing"? This 3rd option is even cheaper yet for the cat 8-)

I just put the arm back on as is and tightened it down nice and tight hoping maybe the splines on the shaft will embed into the soft wiper arm material enough to work. Time will tell if this works or not.
