I've been wanting to do the reflective Pontiac on the back. It's pretty expensive though and I've heard it is tricky to get each letter in straight. Do you have any tricks to get it right?

I took the cheap way out and made my own overlay with some auto reflective tape. Looks close to the original.

Yes! I was pulled over specifically for too dark tint, and ticketed. I bought it only 3 weeks prior from a dealer and it was already tinted. Since they sold me a car with illegal tint, the dealer covered the cost of the ticket. I then had it tinted again with legal percent.

Those are access doors to your taillight bulbs. Normally nothing in there unless you use it to store little things. I love how this car has so many nooks to store things.

Very possible, but the CAI isn't necessary. I often get 40 MPG highway at 65 MPH. My best has been 42 with a base auto.

Not speaking from experience, but only what has been reported here at GV. The Nav system was only sold on the 03 model, and has never had an updated disc. It would truly be a surprise to have a new update after five years of nothing. My feeling is they never sold enough of them to warrant supporting...

An extended warranty on a Vibe is likely a waste of money. It is very reliable and trouble free. Why not put the money it would cost you in a high yield savings account. Over time it would increase and it is all yours when it turns out you don't need it for repairs.

I would say no darker than 35% to see well at night. Regardless, you need to check to find out what is legal in your state. I believe in SC it is 27% all around. In FL 28 front and 15 rear is as dark as you can legally do. However, those are not available, so really it's 35 front.

Because the spare was on when you found it doesn't mean they drove the whole 600 miles on it. Does it? They could have ditched the car when they had to put on the spare because all the fun was gone. And, you didn't say what happened to the regular wheel and tire. Were they with the car?

I believe some are, but not a lot. I suppose those that drive the big cars and trucks are not hurting as much for cash. What surprises me are the smallest cars seem to be driving even faster. It confuses me why they drive an economy car like a sports car and negate the savings.

If it is new, and you're in the break in period, I believe the first change is recommended around 1000-1500 miles. I'd do the second at 3000 and then every 5000 after that. I read an article in the paper the other day that said, after years of declining, auto insurance is now trending upward across the board. So, it's probably a combination of a newer vehicle and the opportunity for them to move you up to the new rates. They also use your credit score as a factor.

Lucky for me I've not yet experienced it. I rarely let the tank get down to less than a quarter tank, so fill-ups are usually around 9 gallons. The most I've paid so far has been $3.549 per gallon/US/87.

I'm using Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. Works great, doesn't leave a residue and provides a nice aroma for a short time. I'm very happy with the results.
