There is no reason to disconnect your battery before removing the MAF. But, you do need to unplug the MAF before unscrewing it. This is probably why so many people blow there MAF. And if a filter is pre-oiled it will be colored from the oil. If it is pre-oiled, there is no reason to oil it. And when...

Going going, gone! Unfortunatley since I haven't been able log on to GenVibe since Friday, the tires were sold to someone local. For future reference they were Bridgestone Potenza RE-960 Pole Position and Fuzion HRi. Hopefully next time there won't be any site problems.

dual intake system?

This may seem stupid, but is there any way to make a dual intake system? After the throttle body install a piece that splits and have a s/r and a cai, two cai or two s/r? Any ideas? I'm thinking about trying this out, so any feedback will be much appreciated!

Has anyone taken off the hose that runs from the airbox to the front fender, or modified it in anyway? I have an AFE S/R with a heat shield and was wondering if this may bring in more or less air.

called the manufacturer and they said it came pre-oiled. I finished my install by attaching the heatshield. I know it takes about 100 miles to achieve max h.p. increase but it is really cool right now! What shall I do next? Now I want more speed!

I just checked and it feels a little oily (if that makes sense) but I'm still not sure. Nothing was said about oiling the filter in the instructions and it was wrapped up in a big plastic bag so I figured it was already oiled.........About to make a call, hopefully someone is there.....
