When I put my intake on my mileage went down.. because I wanted to hear it all the time so I would pound on the car more, hence crappy mileage.. lol

High ethanol content will kill your mileage.. In NY mostly everywhere has to sell 10% ethanol, luckily I am right on the lake and since ethanol gas is not preferred for boats, I tend to fill up with plain old gas and get much better mileage than when I am in a pinch and have to use ethanol garbage.

getting an 07 civic ex by the end of the week.. already starting to mod it and i dont have it.. gonna try and throw some wider wheels on it.. go 16x7 instead of the 6.5"ers and gonna try to run 225s instead of 205s!

lots of good posts in here!! I will have to try and search out the guy who actually used this size tire before and see how it was.. i didnt even think of snow buildup in the wheel wells.. crap.

i was getting ~28 but recently it has been a steady 26mpg, but i am usually shifting about 4-4500. i bet if i kept it closer to 3 my mpgs would go up. also i had bald tires up until a week ago so there was a lot of tire spining going on lol.

haha.. my bad.. I am always careful so no worries I only play where there is no traffic/ other vehicles and only drive within my abilities.. esp in crappy weather. and if you mean snowboarding then haha yea i will try not to destroy myself this year but no promises.. last year i had a huge black eye...

we got about an inch today and I got to play in it.. I just wasnt pulling the ebrake hard enough... I parked and tested where i normally pulled to and could still drive forward-no problem.. (not used to the vibe style as opposed to my old car) so i pulled up a little higher and it locked up the back...

Ended up with the pirellis... I guess they got better overall reviews and scored excellent in deep snow traction. They go on tomorrow... if we actually get some snow I will let you know how they do.
