@jkm311Since you're in Detroit, it was probably a pre-production model of the Focus ST... 2.0L turbo (ecoboost) supposedly going to make 250-260 hp I think.This is it in a very very orange colour I think it's coming out sometime next year. It's like a Speed3 but angry.

Yeah I put a 6 speed trans in my formerly 5 speed car.. I find that you just end up having to shift a lot more. Around town I'll sometimes shift 3-4-5-6 within about 10 seconds lol..

Yup, reverse just seems to work fine, no problems with the lights.I don't think they had to change any speed sensors on mine, but my 6 speed was from an 05 Vibe GT.I still find it funny that the clutch outlived the transmission on my car D:

I'm waiting to see if the Focus is going to live up to my expectations of it. I've priced out one with all the options I want, and it ends up being a $30,000 (cdn) car. Is there any sort of lockout for reverse on the GTs? I got the transmission today for 700 bucks, and I see how the linkage makes no difference, there's only two levers to control everything. replaced a brake caliper D:... needing to replace the transmission very soon too...Since the sticky caliper thing is fixed, I treated it to a wash. It was just the automatic wash though. And it definitely wasn't no-touch All this work just before I plan on selling it too..

original clutch, original engine, coming up to 160,000 km (100k miles). Second & third gear synchros are a little sucky sometimes though. Doesn't grind, but just takes some effort. Still get 37+ US mpg all summer tho :3
