With an automatic, if the engine speed is high enough to keep the torque converter locked and you stop too quick it can stall the engine.

FYI, The recirc kicks off the when you turn on the defrost because the AC compressor is engaged. This helps to dry out the air and prevent fog/frost from forming on the inside of the windshield. Ok, I bought the SIR-GM1 and hooked it up to the factory XM connector in the rear of the car. Had it activated and guess what - It wont work. Strange thing is if I turn off the key, then hold the RCL button when I turn the key on, I can tune into Sirius for about 3 seconds before it jumps back to FM...
