Re: Installing backup camera on 2008 vibe

You will probably need to remove the rear panels one one side to get the the wire to the roof. To get the rear side panels off remove the 4 10MM bolts holding the cargo rings on and snap the lower panel off. The clips are around the edges on the rear and clipped to the upper panel. there are a coupl...

Wow this place brings back memories. Easiest way to hook the camera up so it is use able any time the car is on would be to tap an accessory wire and a reverse wire using 2 relays to keep the circuits separate. I would say build or buy a different box, Eclipse subs like smaller enclosures unless you have the titanium subs that will come to life with lots of power and a bigger box. Their basic 12" subs like 1-1.25 ft3 per sub and the aluminum like .5-.75 ft3 per sub sealed. Not sure what subs you have ...

Are you looking to splice in behind the radio or at the amp? Why are you wanting to splice? you could just use a amp bypass plug to get you leads if you are wanting to splice for speaker wires. If you are wanting to draw +12v constant for the amp I would highly advise against that.
