just have a freind with a video camera follow next to you at 5mph up to 100 and cut the tape into a few frames and compare the ground clearance at the 2 speeds and see if its noticable how much higher or lower it gets.

if your rim is 7" deep then 225/50 is right, if its 6.5 then i think they suggest 205/55. compare our stock 16" with 205/60 to the 225/50 on 17s, its like .3% difference.

same tires on mine in every way, at 40psi they were very smooth on turning and any bump i hit was as soft as i needed, but i have a stronger suspension. at 30psi when i turn if i let go of the wheel to let it center itself it does it way to fast and it feels horrible. at 35+ i liked the way felt all...

hey no one is allowed to look like Kitt before i do, and with my grill it probably wouldnt be hard either, if anyone can wire something up that i can connect to my remote so when i lock or unlock the car it makes the faded lights go instead of the turn signals i will pay out the (removed) for it.

pros walk it enough times to get it memorized and planned out before they even get in their car. autocross does so well cause unlike most races a pro does, these they have never been on, nor are they ever gonna get any practice on. adapting is just as critical as experience

with a short ram you cant run Hstock anymore so i would go with what i have, poteza re-01, treadware of 140, the lowest u can get for sts, and they cost half as much as racing slicks and last 4 times longer. as far as tire pressure thats an odd one. i run mine at 36 in the front cause after the firs...

its a waste of time, dbw was made to work better than a cable and i doubt GM/toyota would make one that lagged with any noticeable amount, all u have to do is adapt yourself to how u want to drive, if u need to get the rpms a bit higher then press harder and sooner, walla done

i use to work with someone who had a cheap little stock civic 1.6L and his exaust was very loud, louder than if he had nothing, and it wasnt a good loud either. strait pipes i think sound great for a low rpm torque car. just some thoughts

based on price is what i would end up deciding, but the tire calculator says this about 17" rims with different sizes225/45=808 revs per mile205/50=804 (stock)235/45=796235/40=827245/40=816 -thats as far as you want to go, the tread will wrap around the sidewall alot, but it wont look horrible ...

225 is actually designed exactly for 7", so u can go up to 245 without a single problem, but i wouldnt recommend that on 18" rims cause the clearance is to low. but for 17 or 16" it will be just fine. just remember that you also need to decrease sidewall as you increase treadwidth so ...

i would get a intake you like and build the shield on your own, its not hard at all with sheets of aluminum and a saw blade for cutting soft metal. it can look unique and work very close to what the best can do. keep in mind the best options are designed by engineers for multi million dollar vehicle...

http://www.jetchip.com/they have one for the matrix and its the same unit for any toyota so i dont really know if its all that great. they do have a dyno of a camry 2.2L gaining 11hp.opinions?

even without my stock airbox i hear about 2x the engine noise going from 3200 to 3600rpms while driving on highway, thats to maintain speed not full throttle acceleration.

just look at ur time and speed, now u have a formula for acceleration. if your mph are higher then you have a HP based car that catches up at the end. if you have a lower time with a low speed you have a torque car that launches. based on the times and speed of the original post i would assume that ...

well theres 3 lights that are used to power the backlight our headunits and the center one of mine burnt out, so now daytime driving i cant see anything in the middle of the display and nighttime its dim but not a problem. this should be under warranty right?

in our area were mobbed with EVOs, STIs, Lotus, corvettes, and those damn little minis. while i was only a second behind the best in sts we were missing the 2 guys who really do great, one of them is about 5th of 250 in the total pax for the season.
