It is called heat dissipation. It is due to the wire not being able to handle the amperage. The same thing happened to a cavalier someone had. Pretty much the outer coating of the wire is rated for a certain temperature and the light is putting out to much heat through amperage. When the wire cant h...

Gauges and interior lights.

Did a little swap on the gauges and some new shifter lights. American vibe with canadian gauges. Shifter lights all the same color.Thanks to Kev for the canadian gauges. Oh yeah, not going to post any pics.

It is kinda funny, but they look like the ones that are on the 03 - 08 models. It seems that the company is just using the ones from the older models and selling them for the 09.If you look between the boor lines, you can see where the back one is angled a little and it does not line up with the doo...

Glad everything worked out for you. I was going to do a write up on installing a HU with monsoon when I did mine, b/c so many people kept asking questions on how to. But I decided not to. Glad you post a pic of the converter, so now people know.

The GM employee pricing all depends on what packages are in the car. They can not take money off the base price. They do seem a little low now compared to when I bought my Vibe in end of 06. Dont even use the supplied hose. When pull the stock intake out, all you should have to disconnect is the MAF sensor and the hose from the valve cover.Connect the MAF sensor to the SRI, cap the inlet/outlet and put a breather filter on the hose coming from the valve cover.

You can get the filter from about any auto parts store that sells acessories.As far as you engine light coming on. I am guessing you have a SRI. Your intake is fine as long as no CEL comes on. Just get a small breather filter for the vavle cover hose you have in the pic.See the blue one I have?

All together a failed meet.I do give props to everyone who made the long trip for the meet. But for me, with the time and money put into it, it was a waste. Except for hanging out with friends.Definitely my last GVC meet.
