OK this intake really works very well and is the best mod I have done to the car in a long time. Last night i was delivering pizza and this was all day from 10 am till 8 pm. I went ahead and popped the hood and the heat shield works. It was cold to the touch and the engine was hot. The surrounding a...
Brian, when you told me this was the one to get, you hit the nail on the head. The off the line torque is second to nun. I can chirp the tires again. I can't wait to do the T/B.
Ok boys and girls this is the latest mod to the vibe all I can say is this intake is incredible. The throttle response is crazy. She now pulls like crazy and the car drives so much better than the E-bay intake. If you are in the market for an intake this is the one to get.http://www.autopartswarehou...
I just put the tokicos on the Vibe a couple days ago. My god what a difference these struts make, the car rides way better and handles like a dream. The acceleration off the line is crazy fast and very responsive. If you are in the market for springs and struts this is the combo to roll with. I had ...
OK the Sportline springs are by fare the best riding and handling springs I have ever had on the car. They are awesome!!!! I have 16's on the car with 205-55-16 and KYB Struts. The struts have about 30,000 miles on them and were installed with the H tech Tein springs I was rolling on. I know I know ...
Well guys I will be going to be installing a set of Eibach Sportline Springs to day thanks to the the great deal I got off Craigslist on Monday. I think I will be much happier with these over the gangster lean I am rolling on now.
Right now I am rolling with the teins H techs in the back and the TRDs in the front. The ride and handling is great, but i don't want to roll like this if it is unsafe.
I will try to get a pic up of the springs but no promises. I am not that great with getting pictures up. 2ND they are not coil-overs for sure. It is only the very last turn off the spring that is off by like 1/32". Its just a little to tight to go all the way down to the perch. I went ahead and...
OK guys i know I have not been on this forum in a while, but I have a favor to ask? I need to know if any one knows the inner diameter of the bottom of the rear springs for the base vibe. I got some TRD spring from the dealer for the Matrix, and they do not slide all the way down on to the rear perc...
Well the Vibe is back from the N/A hell. I some how broke the support bracket and was able to vibrate all the bolts loose that hold the blower to the head. It has been rewelded and and reinstalled with a new belt and new gasket. She pulls harder than ever right around 10 pounds of boost. I am runnin...
I had all kinds of quirky issues with the turd ecu. I am running the Blue now and it is much better. It took for ever for the ecu to learn the blue. I am very happy with the blower in the cold winter air the car really hauls @SS. Just ask the Lexus IS I smoked the other night. This was from a dead s...
Thanks guys. So the Vibe and the Matrix have the same pin out. I was told that the corolla and matrix are the same pin for pin but not sure about the vibe.
Calling all guru's, dose the 03 Corolla and 03 vibe have the same pin out. I know that the TRD pigging backs are interchangeable with the 2 different cars. Thanks for the input. I want to wire this little bad boy up. http://www.urdusa.com/product_...18747
The OEM Size pulley works fine, I would not run a under drive pulley on a S/C 1zz. You will under drive the S/C and make only 4 to 5 pounds of boost. The after market pulley was put on the same time as the blower ,
It brakes down like this if your an old fart like me and married and you need the car to run good then S/C it. If you love spending money Turbo away. I really love the torque of the S/C makes it a Great Daile driver for around town.

She is back tearing up the streets of Phoenix. The hardest part was finding the friggin 12 point 30mm deep socket in town. Online they are all over but when you need a tool you need the tool.
Well it was just the Axel. The transmission is fine. It was the drivers side axel, the inside knuckle was shattered. I will try to get pic's up soon. Happy motoring
I was thinking of that too. But if that's the weak link and you make it stronger then it will brake something inside the transmission next time. Checker had them for 69.99 bran new no re man crap for this little torque monster. And they say autos have no POWER.
Well it looks like my little torque monster has snapped an Axel. I will know more when they come in next week. We will be pulling both sides next week. If I put the car in gear I am going about 50 in the drive way which means the differential is spinning freely. So yes the ES inserts are getting the...
Thanks for all the support guys, you all are much more kind than my wife is being. I only have 7500 miles left on the extended warranty I have on the car. So I am going to let them fix it and then build a transmission on the side to have swapped in later down the road. There were no sines that it wa...
I was able to blow my transmission on the way to work to day. Looks like are little trannys do not like POWER. I pulled away from the light and bang the car rolled to the side of the road. But its covered so its all good.I will let you guys know more when they pull the transmission out of the car.
I was thinking of a hood that would allow the hot air to escape better when the car is moving. In AZ it gets hot in the summer time. I am going to be install W/I with in the week.
Is it going to help the under hood temps or is it more just a wast of money? I know they are much lighter than stock, I want to cool the Blower. Any input on this would be great.
Brian, when I replaced mine I went throw http://www.neverenoughauto.com. They have some great deals. Its not that bad of a job just get a good spring compress and some air tool will also help. Good luck. My car never did the gangster lean ether.
