Looking over the specs, they will offer a 4 cylinder engine, so that should curb it's fuel usage.I kind of see the resemblance between it and the Edge, but I think it looks quite a bit better.

Sure, it isn't the most exciting car, but you have to admit, the Vibe isn't all that exciting in stock form either. The rumor is that pricing will be around 23K.

I hit a new record today as well. 298 miles on 9.88 gallons of gas, 30.2 MPG. Considerable improvement from my usual 25 MPG. I would usually drive 75-85 MPH, and accelerate quickly, with traffic. My Vibe consistently saw 3500-4500 RPMs. Now, I only hit around 2500 RPMs in town and never exceed 3000....

I'm having a hard time believing all of these 30+ readings. I'm not going over 3K RPMs, accelerating very slowly, never going over 65 MPH and slowing down way before red lights and only getting 28 MPG. Most of my driving is highway as well.

This was thoroughly discussed on Edmunds, I just wish I had a link to the thread. Basically, someone with connections to GM engineering confirmed that on some GM vehicles, the fuel and spark is cut when coasting downhill.

I think it's the CENTER PILLAR GARNISH, but I'm not sure.See if this explanation helps: If you put your finger on the anchor cover, run your finger down the seatbelt. You'll notice that at some point, the belt disappears behind a trim panel. That's the loose panel.

I really like the new, cleaned up interior, but you'd think they could have found a better spot for the emergency flashers button. It looks like a pimple on an otherwise clean dashboard. Very out of place.I also wish it had been bigger. I feel pretty cramped in the current Vibe.

That is odd. I'll scan in my service sheet from yesterday, where they couldn't find anything wrong with my engine. I had asked them to investigate why it doesn't accelerate smoothly (it surges at 3200 RPMs).

I've always had trouble getting all the soap off when using just the hose. So I use this attachment's "power" setting to get all the soap off and then the "soaker" type setting to sheet the water off the car.
