Re: Attempting Oil Change myself for first time...

I prefer Pure One because it rated very high in particle filtration in an article I read several years ago. I use the GT filter because is has a higher capacity, even though I don't have a GT. I don't know if it really makes any difference. I'll use other brands if they come with an oil change speci...

Can anyone help me find the the link that describes how to change the speed transmission oil? I tried using the search feature with no luck. I'm mostly looking for the pictures with the locations of the drain and fill plugs. Thanks.

Does anybody know the brand name of the primer that makes cars go faster? I see all these Hondas driving around that have the big goofy mufflers and are painted in primer. I figure the primer has to make those Hondas go faster. Why else are they all painted that way?

I've bought used tires before when I was broke and needed to pass inspection. I bought mine from a used tire store so they came with a 30 day guarantee. They lasted almost a year and got the job done. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to get by.

Replaced the radiator fan. What should have been a simple 30 minute job turned into a 90 minute job. The heads on the three screws that hold the fan motor to the shroud stripped out. I couldn't find my easy-outs, so I had drill out all three screws. Nothing is ever easy.

I tried Mothers Back to Black and didn't care much for it. I use a product by Eale 1 that I've been happy with. It's a spray on gel. The exact name escapes me right now, but it should be easy enough to find in any auto parts store that has Eagle 1 products.
