Re: (Gekko)

Hey thanks for your thoughts. Removing the parts would be a pain but it is an option. Im probably leaning to keep it intact for now. Its a great car to drive. I was assuming genvibe members here would be interested in the vibe because of all the mods that I learned of through this site. Well see wha...

Re: 2003 Supercharged Vibe for sale in near future. (beemerphile1)

Lol I guess that's a fair statement! All the parts have been installed because there are many mechanics and engineers in the family. Making things better is just the way it goes with me. In all honesty, I never put any of these performance parts to go race or show off to people at Tim hortons lol. M...

I would like the car to go to someone who could appreciate it as much as I did. The car has been babied, cleaned eve...

Engine shake/vibration between 2000-3000 RPM?

I was wondering if anyone else experiences this minor issue or if it's just mine:I noticed that my Vibe shakes a bit when accelerating in 2nd gear between 2000-3000 RPM. I don't notice this shaking in any other gear (it's a 5spd manual btw).So I tried slowly revving the engine up while stopped in ne...

Re: Which oil do you use? (P POPPR)

I've always used Amsoil in all of my cars, so naturally, when I bought the Vibe in Dec '05, I switched it over to Amsoil 0W30 Series 2000 (and now I also use their new EaO filters - used to use AC Delco).Just a bit about why I like to use Amsoil:My old car was a 1996 Chrysler Intrepid, bought brand ...

Re: (GMJAP)

Okay, so I guess it really just depends on the A/M head unit's output level. (I'm going to install a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP btw).I'll give it a try then, and if it works I'll just return the converter. Thanks for all your help everyone...

Still on the wimpy stock battery...It's been in the car since November 2002, and it still works (even in Ontario's occasional -40 winter weather).

Awesome. Thanks for clearing that up!So basically, once I install the FAI-3, my objective is to turn down all of the 4 channels to a level the stock amp can handle? How do I know how much to turn them down by?
