It sounds like you're using the wrong type of filter wrench. I use an end cap filter wrench-65mm w/ a 3/8" socket extension. You really can't use a strap style wrench for the reasons you described, no room to work. The next time you do an oil change, use an end cap wrench and try using a floor ...

The filter is to the left of the oil drain pan if you are facing the engine from the front of the car. I have done 3 oil changes so far on my 09 and did not need to raise the car. It's pretty easy to get to.

The radio was locked on my wife's G5 when we bought it. A call to XM solved the problem. You don't need the dealer to unlock it. Call 1-800-967-2346.

I lived in Germany in the 80's, so I'm disqualified too. I wonder when the red cross started that. I gave blood every 3-4 months while living in Germany. It was strongly encouraged by Army brass that everyone give blood as often as they could.

The dipstick does have a pink dot in the center of the handle. I just did mine this week and it was very easy. The filter sits right next to the oil pan and came off easily. You need a cap style socket (65-67mm) to remove the filter. I got one at Autozone for $5.99.

You can take it anywhere you want. make sure to save your receipts as proof of oil changes and tire rotations. If you do need warranty work down the road, you can prove proper maintenance.

Try moving the antenna to a different spot. They usally get installed near the rear view mirror or along the A pillar. It may be mounted too close to the headliner, which can block the signal to the antenna.

The PH3614 is correct for the 2.4. Personally, I wouldn't use a fram filter, I've read bad things about them. Other options are the Purolator Pure One-PL14477 or K&N - HP1003 or Mobil1 - M1103. I use the K&N if its in stock or the Purolator Pure One, never had a problem with either.

It hasn't been colder than 20 degrees here in NY yet, but my 09 heats up very well. I can't leave it on full for more than 5 minutes or I'm roasting. It was the same with my 06 Vibe. You may want to have the dealer check your coolant and thermostat.
