Re: (B14CK_H4WK)

The other thing to remember is after 100+ the Speedo is not very accurate. I know a few have tested it againts various GPS's and such. I still say you are going to be drag limited more than anything.... you can get a supercharger, or other form of power booster, but as was stated, these cars were just not meant for a top speed of any kind.HOWEVER, the governor on most modern cars is all computer and can be reprogrammed. Re: (MSAGRO)

Alot of Vibes had this problem, but they were mostly covered under warranty. I got mine done at about 26000 miles, and 2 years old. It started making that pop noise when I rolled it up. I was worried it was going to explode one day...... but they fixed it and said that it was a pretty common problem.

Mine did that...... I found a great fix though..... traded for my Camaro. LOL. I found a dealership that offered me what I owed on the Vibe, and they had a Camaro sitting there, and I said.... Well.... it's at least still a GM.As long as the body is in good shape they are worth the new engine. They ...

As I recall (at least on my 2004), the gov. was set at some rediculous high number like 130, or 125..... I tried a few times, and I never once hit it. It should.... The way it works is it isn't actually looking for the CD player any more, it is tricking the stereo into thinking there is an EXTERNAL disk tray, and playing from that.... that is why your display will show something like "Tr 03".....However, since I only had the 1CD changer,...

That is 100% correct. I had one in mine. It was EASY to install (took me about a half an hour, I did it AT work in the parking lot at lunch). Sounded great, and worked great.
