vin is valid. For liability reasons and privacy issues people with access to GM service systems are not allowed to print and distribute warranty info, but as suggested before just go to a gm dealer service dept and they may verbally answer some of your questions.

for that price it is cheap if you do not want to carry a cell phone, handy if you are out of town. Just go to Florida and use a hotel room telephone a few times and it will more than pay for itself, that is the reason I bought the Vibe over the Matrix.

Agree fully, do not take the vehicle until problem is fixed, why should you pay to fix it? Even a used vehicle should not perform like that, and it is your hard earned dollars you are spending. Make it part of the deal.

Mazda 3's from that time period had a problem that when you whack one of the doors the door locks would pop open allowing stuff in your car to be stolen, the forums do not like to talk about it for obvious reasons but it is a concern.

The worst thing is on a humid/damp day on the highway your throttle can ice up, any season, and when you lift off the accelerator pedal the car keeps going, very dangerous. I can see the mod if you are racing and want a miniscule edge, but poor choice on the street.

I use this everywhere, even on weather strips. Do not put too much in the connectors, just cover the female holes where the male connector will insert, too much and it may push out the connector when you put it together. This will keep salt and moisture out. On the weatherstrips it keeps them soft a...

there was a bulletin on mold in the evaporator coils, there is a kit that tells you to spray the evaporator with something that cleans the mold off. Can be avoided if you run the fan a few minutes after shutting off the AC to dry the evaporator so nothing grows on it.

the car never warms up with such a short drive, you are probably driving on the rich side of the warm up cycle, much like a choke in the old days on a carburetor. Not much you can do, may get worse in cooler weather, but any car would be the same under those circumstances.
