Sad to post that our vibe is gone to the junk yard after being rear ended and then slammed into a SUV. This was our first car and we're pretty upset that it's gone. 350,000kms on it and still driving like new!! Not sure what our car plans are, but a newer Vibe is not out of the question. :) I found ...

It's not driven as much now a days (20k/yr) but it still runs great with no major issues. We have 2 cars and have talked about which one to replace next year -- the vibe or a 2010 ...

tackled this fix today and after a hour finally got it! I took out the radio but ended up going through the glove box :D :D

thanks to whoever suggested using the rubber band on the socket, worked like a charm. my hands and forearms are beat up but it's so satisfying that it no longer ticks :lol:

Just wanted to say I got the headlights a few weeks back and finally got them cleaned up and installed. :D

I'm back to stock lights but at least they turn on.

he base Gen 1 does really well in rain and snow if you have the right tires for the conditions. I use Michelin Defenders for 3 seasons on mine and I have an extra set of wheels with General Tire Altimax Arctic for winter driving. There is no issue with aqua planing with the Michelin and the Altimax...

I've had RSA's, Kumho, Toyo, and now General tires on my 06. Kumho were okay but didn't last long -- neither did the Toyo's.

Everyone knows about the quality of the RSA's. So far the Generals are holding up well over 2 summers, great grip but a little loud.

I don't know if it was cold related but my blower motor stopped working last week. No heat or defrost in -35 is not fun :cry:

swapped the fuse and bought a new blower motor only for it to start working on a day it warmed up. :evil: :evil:
