Re: Ontario Roll Call

Haven't posted here for years.. the Vibe is looong gone (2003 Abyss Vibe GT, cold air, lowered..). Was cruising it around Mississauga and Burlington for quite a while, shipped it out west, turned it in to a dealer in Coquitlam BC. I wonder where she is now..?

Loving my F-150 these days :)

Hey Atomb, no disrespect to Scarberia (hey, I lived in south Etobioke for a while by the hells angels place...) but that's the rep this city has, it's not that bad a spot but just gets the worst rap on the news and everything.Scarborough was always the best place for up to the minute Louis Vuitton f...

Re: Aggressive Christmas Light Displays (redlava)

Our neighbourhood has a competition for the best light display.. two days to really show it for judging by the neighbourhood but the rules say all lights have to be up no earlier than Dec 1 and down/off no later than Dec 31. Winner gets $100.00 , 2nd place $75.00, third $50.00. I can take 30 days of...

Re: (Atomb)

Correct, no Harveys out here, but there are several restaurant chains that Ontario doesn't have.. White Spot, Earls, Cactus Club, Joey Tomatoes etc. As far as I can tell so far, they suck. We have Chevron gas stations, London Drug stores and Canadian Tire here is for the most part extremely crappy, ...

Re: (vibe-04)

They know "double double" but have no idea what a "regular" is.. The coffee they serve out here at Tim's is TWICE as strong too, the westcoasters like their coffee very strong. It's hard to find a Tim's here - we have the opposite, a million Starbucks. Vancouver is to Starbucks a...

Re: (BigMac)

Generally no, rain tires would be better in Van I live on a mountain, we have snow there now while the town down the hill has none. My summers are absolutely terrible when temps drop, it's like driving a sleigh, it just won't stop. Snow tires are ugly but useful.

Re: BC anyone ?? (MrDoopey)

Count one more BC Vibe..The car came to BC with me (by rail) from Toronto, but has been sitting in my garage for about 3 months now without use.. I've finally gotten around to insuring it and putting my snow tires on so you may see me on the roads in and around PoCo or Vancouver. Abyss monotone GT, ...
