I had that same thought.......the rear hatch button works fine. Thankfully all the connectors are unique and only plug into the "correct" matching part. They come in lots of different colors and lots of different shapes and sizes....it doesn't appear it is possible to connect the connector...

I have a 2006 Base model that is stick shift. It has the upgrade that allowed Cruise control and electric windows - it does not have ABS or TPMS. The car has 205,000 miles on it and it still looks and runs great - it is a wonderful car. I had to replace my heater core, and the job was pretty intense...

IF you want a better ride - get some 15" wheels and install a 205/65-15 tire. This size has very close to the same rolling radius as the orignal tires (205/55-16 or 215/50-17) and your speedometer and odometer will stay accurate, and your gearing will not be adversly affected.

Unfortunately the things that make the GT a high revving horsepower engine are the things that aren't good for torgue. Agressive cams, big valves, large diameter intake and exhaust pipes all make air flow through the engine faster and make horsepower - but when you need torgue at lower rpm's the air...

I think you may have mis-understood my sizing comments. When looking at replacement tires you need to check the (revolutions per mile) or tire diameter for a specific size....and not just get the same width and aspect ratio tire when you change rim diameter. On the base Vibe the 205/55-16 tire turns...
