Re: Center console hinge part

#11 on that diagram is for the latch on the front of the clamshell, it is not a hinge. The diagram doesn't show the parts for the clamshell hinge, so I think you'd need to replace the whole armrest. The clamshell latch on mine broke long ago, I believe #10 and #11 are gone on mine, and the lid is cr...

Re: Stant InStant Gas Fill Cap (ou.grizzly)

I tried one on a Saab and it didn't work because the cap kept the nozzle from opening the flap in the filler neck -- in other words too much space between the filler neck flap and where the cap screws on -- gas got everywhere.

yes, it is the mud flaps. If anyone has gotten a P0133 code recently, my bet is that it is due to the recent cold snap in areas not prone to getting so cold. Happened to me yesterday. Cleared the code and so far it has not come back .

Trico has an Exact Fit blade for the rear wiper!

Well lookie what I stumbled upon in my search to figure out my current rear wiper spring tension problem. Trico now makes an Exact Fit replacement rear wiper blade for our vibes, at substantial savings over dealer cost for the factory blade. It is the Trico 11-A. Pics are on amazon -- it looks the s...

Rear wiper spring tension

So I've noticed that the rear wiper has been streaking badly lately. No biggie, insert replacement time, right? Wrong. Replaced the insert and still no better. It appears the spring on the wiper arm has weakened to the point that there is insufficient pressure on the window to make a clean swipe. Do...

If you get too aggressive on the cladding on a monotone, paint will come off.If the bugs are not promptly removed, they will eat into the plastic cladding. Then no amount of rubbing will take them off, and as you stated, wax will just make it look worse. I found this out the hard way.
