Re: 2009 Vibe AWD - Differential Leaking

When did GM go to the 5 yr /100,000 mile drivetrain warranty? Probably not in 2009. It does have that warranty but we called one GM Dealership and they said it doesn't cover the differential. I did some research online and it looks like it is covered based on the literature I read. I'm going to cal...

2009 Vibe AWD - Differential Leaking

Hi Guys, It's been a while since I've posted! My fiance' has a 2009 Vibe AWD that she got about 10 months ago. Shortly after she got it I recommended that she get the transmission flushed and differential fluid changed since it was never done before and it had about 60k miles on it. A few weeks ago ...

Pulley/Belt Issues? - Issues with cold acceleration

Hey Guys,Well it is getting cold here in Wisconsin. I've always had some weird issues with my pulley/belt/alignment stuff such as engine hesitation upon starting but then it would smooth out. Right now what I'm experiencing is I start the car just fine and then I go to accelerate but there is almost...

I shot some WD-40 in there.......didn't make a difference. A lot of times it'll squeal when putting it in reverse. Sometimes I can feel it slipping because the RPM's will jump a bit. Generally works better when warmed up.Could I get away with a smaller belt? How much smaller could I go?

Hey man!I think I have a Dayco one on it now. I've always had issues with the belting on this thing and all the shimming. Maybe I should just take it in and tell the mechanic to do whatever he can to make it work. I know it is messing with my performance and mileage.

I don't have an external amp (other than the factory moon 'n tunes one). All I replaced was the factory stereo unit with a Pioneer unit. When the sound happens it goes away when I fiddle with my existing auxiliary cable......so I'm thinking the cable just isn't shielded or something.
