OK, so searching online for O2 sensor replacements, I find some for around $30 and some for around $100. Safe to assume that I should pay more and will end up with an easier to install item??

So is there no single one-stop shop for the suspension?? I just want to replace the worn out struts. I don't want anything fancy or to lower it, seems like that should be easy to find

Re: Need help in searching for strut part (bikeman1)

Where do you find that? I have only seen the strut for sale by itself, never with the spring. I figured I was just going to have to re-use the springs.

Re: (keithvibe)

Well, yes it was with the new struts, almost $600 in labor.Up in NY my cousin got quoted around $500 for 4 struts installed.I just can't bring myself to shell out over a grand for this, the car has 146K miles on it.

Well hell, I am going to try this. I went to three places today and they want $1000 to do this. Hate to think what the dealer would charge.

So, no special tools are needed to do this?? All I really need are some wrenches? I'd rather do this myself than get raked over the coals at some dealer or crappy chain garage.

Happening to me too

Wow, I thought I had a weird electrical problem. Just noticed last night that when I hit a bump the interior light would flicker on. I will check the hatch before I drive it again. Hope that's it.

Got my hitch and went to install it yesterday. Had some trouble getting a couple of the bolts into the holes. I did get 5 of the 6 in, I think I screwed up the treads on one bolt and need to buy a new one somewhere. I also smashed one of my fingers working on the drivers side when the socket came lo...

Damn, thats a good idea. I usually end up balling up a bandana and wedging it between my knee and the console. I think I will look for a mouse pad somewhere and glue it on.

Re: Automatic transmission fluid change (Sunny)

Well it was to flush it and replace the filter with a new one. Thats probably why it was so high.Guess I'll just watch the fluid and see if it gets dark again, then I will drop the pan yet another time and clean out the filter.

Re: Automatic transmission fluid change (silverawd26)

ok, so dropping the pan and letting it all drain for about an hour is still no good?? I still have to take it somewhere to flush it/relace the filter?? Had a local small shop quote $255 to do that. More than I wanted to spend at the time.In this case, it was merely a stop gap job, since I only drain...

Hi, been lurking for awhile. Decided to register just to chime on on this. I find the opening feature on the glass part of the hatch to be totally useless.
