35k on my 04 Base. Funny on my way home I was just thinking how I barely had any miles on this car.I'm lucky I don't have to commute far for work or to visit family. Me and the wife usually average like 7-9k a year on our cars.

34k on mine. I've rotated them regularly and they look to be in need of replacement. I'm hoping to squeeze 40k out of them but I think I may get a little nervous and go ahead and change them out before the winter.

If you still plan on doing it yourself, I'm pretty sure there was someone on the MatrixOwners website that did a writeup w/ pics. If I locate the link I'll post it up for you. I was considering a DIY job also but I'm note sure I'll have the patience for it.

OEM Battery in my 04 Vibe bit the dust about a month ago. I was finishing changing the oil on the vibe today and figured I give a look around as I usually do to check for any leaks or obvious things when I see this. Hardwire my radar detector, got a ?

I wanted to hard wire my radar detector. It's a cheapo, nothing special but I like to mount it above the rearview mirror. Any objection to me tapping into the power from the moonroof to do so? It seams like I could just splice into the power and neg from that and be set. What do you think.
