Chains or?

Hello, We have a 2005 Vibe. We don't get a ton of snow but once in a while we do. May have to be on call for work and Murphy's law it will be at 2AM with a blizzard going on. Not sure if it's an AWD or a 2WD. I've read chains would be needed on all 4 tires or else it can mess with the tire sensors? ...

2005 Tires

Hi,
I need new tires. I drive a lot in the city but I also go up into areas that get snow too. I'm more in the city. What would be a good tire?
Thanks

Re: Cell phone holder 2005

You all are fantastic and greatly appreciated. The instructable site is really cool w/ very clear instructions. The magnet idea was one of my first thoughts but I'm leery of having a magnet on my phone and it doing a number on my debit card. Anyway, I did find one, it uses an adhesive, I'm also goin...

Replacement 2005 radio

I'd like to buy a new radio that will fit a 2005 w/the fake alarm flash, blue tooth, USB port, CD & AM/FM radio. The fake alarm flash is mandatory. Hope this isn't a pipe dream. Thanks for any input.

2005 Wheel Covers

Hi, looking for wheel covers for 05 are these the correct # 22676857 or 22676859? Are there any other # that would apply? Which years are compatable w/ an 05? Some of the after markets look good but I've read about them falling off. Any input would be great. Thanks

Re: Roof trim

Thanks for starting me off on the right path. I found it and it's called a drip molding and it looks like it will be part # 88969800 and it will need drip molding clips # 88972816. Thanks again

Roof trim

First off, thanks for this awesome site. Lots of great info. Now, my next question, the strip of rubber is missing on the roof that fits in the track that runs in front of the roof rack bar. What is the strip of rubber called or is there a part #? It's on the driver's side 2005 base Vibe. Is it hard...

Air conditioner switch

Hello again, The switch on the air conditioner wasn't working. Bought a new/used panel off ebay. On the unit there is a white part that a cable plugs into, on this there are 2 white spikes on each side and they are broken. Had to tape the cable to keep it to stay in place. We managed to get the inta...

Reprogram door locks?

Hello, It's great that the doors lock when you start the engine just don't like that they all unlock when you turn the car off. Is there a way to reprogram the door locks to not open when you turn the car off? Maybe just have the driver's door unlock? Many thanks

Re: Button on console and rear top brake light

Thanks Joatmon! Didn't know where to start. I bought the locking pins for the brake light from China 10 for $1.49 and the shift lock release button cover for $5.85. I researched from the info you gave me which brought me back to this site and someone posted this part number 33554-12110 for the butto...

Button on console and rear top brake light

Hi, Trying to complete my son's 2005 base model Vibe, automatic trans. What is the button called that's to the right of the gear shift on the console? (the one that covers access to shift if the transmission locks up.) What are the clips called that keep the rear brake light housing in place? Where ...
