I had a parking warning sticker put on my window while away on a business trip. The sticker was designed not to come off. I went to Wal-Mart and got a glass paint scraper, and it came right off, glue and all. Paint thinner or car tar remove would get any possible remaining glue off.

Mostly salt water brine mix, sometimes calcium chloride water mix. I even heard of beet juice mix. The latter is the only one which could be considered expensive. The concept is for the water to dry out, leaving a thin even salt layer on the road instead of uneven salt pellets.

Neither, the $100 progress rear bar completely eliminates understeer. The Vibe doesn't roll too much. A lot less work.

What is more amazing is that car was crap. I had a 64 Comet, and everything broke, engine, brakes, clutch, exhaust, driveshaft bearings, gas tank, leaf springs in the back, a arms in the front, you name it. Ready for the junk heap by 1971.

I bought aftermarket wheels and tires in 2005 using the factory 17" tire size. This winter, with my front tires down to the wear bars, I put the original crappy but unused 16" stock steel wheels and Continentals and used them as snow tires without problems.

I have the type that has a 3/8" drive, and is a socket cup that slips over and matches the bolt type pattern formed on the end of the filters. Works great, as all the muscle work is below the engine.

The front brakes do 90% of the breaking, so the switch to disks alone should not make much difference. I have had 5 cars with rear disks, and the 95 vibe with drums definitely does not brake any better. The problem probably has to do with Toyota execution. Yes, Toyota does mess up also.

The progress bar required 150# torque of the bolts, which you will only find in a 1/2" torque wrench. The 1/2 to 3/8' adapters work fine. If you have only one, I agree that it should be 1/2".

My bulbs burned out just a month after adding the FM Modulator. How many total bulbs are there. I can put 3 or 4 cheap Radioshack LEDs in series to get the 12V drop, removing the existing bulbs and hopefully solve the problem for good. What a piece of monkey dong the stock radio is.
