The reason I'm posting this is because many vibe owner told me that the wiper feel a bit slow . The pivots gets dry and rusty so the only way to fix the problem. I use a 1 1/4 x 42 inc steel corner, welded on both side I notch were the 2 engine support bar bolts are. Same here, It was already replaced 1 year ago with another tataka and received another letter 2 months ago for replacement with part:19355534 recall was done this morning took 45 minutes at GM dealer. Don't mess with this recall....

There is a stud holding tranny support that is welded in the back center If you don't oil it or WD-40 before, It could unweld and you are going to have a hard time to unbolt It. On my 2006 I have 246,000KM my oil consumtion is about 1/8 pint per 15,000KM. I use DuraLube for many years and this stuff is awesome product to keep engine clean and idling perfectly.

A very good compression test should read between 195 to 210 PSI
If between 175 to 190 PSI piston rings are tired..
below 175 PSI your cylinder bores are scratch enough to loose a lot of compression and more oil consumption.

Rear Sway bar is common problem, unbolt and remove It. then clean (bolts an sway bar orifice with brass wire brush) apply lithium white grease on both parts, reassemble, torque to 80ft/lbs.
