Congrats....great to hear of someone actually getting a job these days...especially in Michigan.Just out of curiosity, what did you think of ITT Tech? My son has been thinking about that school. Thanks for any info you may have.
Replacing mine this week. 2006-37,000 miles. Local tire dealer said he was surprised I got that much out of them. Said he has replaced several at around 25,000.
Interesting....I was just at the Pontiac dealer today for an oil change (special!) and they said I needed a transmission flush because the fluid was brownish. They wanted $166.2006 Vibe-35,000 miles
She deserves the "Master User of Society" award for her ability to milk honest people and for bringing a whole flock of innocent children into the world who will be dependent on everyone else for their support.
I have about 32,000 on my 2006 Vibe with the GY RSA....curious what kind of miles other folks have driven on these tires? When you did replace, what did your replace with? Thanks for any info you would like to offer.
Wow! Great deal. Based on some previous comments in the forum, I ordered cabin filters from some outfit in Canada this summer. Paid about $15 as I recall. It was for a 2006 Vibe, and I'm not sure if the 2007 is different, but I'll check it out. Nice find!
I'm pretty much echo maximum's comments. It amazes me to see Pontiac ads in the Sunday paper showing all the models, but with nary a mention of the Vibe. With gas prices in Mich hovering around 3.50 last weekend, their marketing strategy is a mystery to me.
Well, been driving my 2006 Vibe since the middle of August and got my first oil change the other day. Thought it was about time that I got around to listing my feelings about the new Vibe. Fuel economy: Have 4300 miles, and am averaging about 30.3 in mix of city/freeway driving. Not bad, but hoping ...
Just finishing The World is Flat by Tom Friedman (don't read it before you go to bed at night....it will keep you awkae!)Just finished The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Lencioni.Geez....too much serious stuff!!
well I just put in 2 200 mile trips over the weekend in my new Vibe, and found the seats to be failry comfortable. I have leather, but doubt that would make much difference. I think the seating position is definitely different from the Taurus I was driving, and I noticed that difference, but can't s...
Zuben: only had a few minutes to stop and get a pic and ended up taking the picture right into the morning sun. thought it was shielded enough by the trees, but it ended up causing some reflection. think the rear window was one of those.VforVibe..one of the buttions is for the Stabilitrak, will have...
thanks mavrik.....and you don't know how much i have lusted after your pumpkin Vibe over the last year!!Fusion was definitely my favorite, and frankly I had about made the decision to go for an 05 when I discovered they eliminated Fusion. That actually caused me to hold off on my buying decision.End...
Here is the story from an earlier post:Kind of a funny deal. I saw this Vibe about a month ago at the dealer and thought this is way more than I needed anyway. Then the saleswoman said it was getting ready to be shipped out. It had a an Military Overseas tag on it.Was getting serious this week and s...

On the other hand.....the airport is about 1/2 from Ann Arbor which has a pretty interesting downtown to browse around, and also they have a little school that it might be interesting to see called the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN!!GO BLUE!
geesh...I'm in too and don't even have a Vibe (yet!).Son has a Grand AM, but I certainly can relate some of the experiences I've had shopping for the Vibe.
hey, by the way....do the 2006 Vibes include the rear mat? I noticed the 4 models at this dealer all had the rear deck mat in them, and it was not priced as an option. The salesperson had no idea!
Just in the middle of negotiating price on a new Vibe this week.I can get GM Friends and Family pricing, and GM is offering a total of $2,000 in rebates.Has anyone found it possible to negotiate more from the dealer than the above price reducitons? Thanks for any experiences you may have had.MSRP 20,...

Thank you all for your responses. Maybe the paint shouldn't be such a big issue, but when I looked at 2004's on the lot and saw significant chipping, then looked at my 2002 Taurus (Yikes...a Ford!!!) with almost 80,000 miles there was a significant difference. Very little chipping on the Taurus.Hard...
For about 10 months I've been observing this site and learning about the Vibe. I am soon going to be in a position of "needing", not just "wanting " a new vehicle.Over that period I've looked at both new and used Vibes. I still love the idea of the Vibe, but am also getting more ...
Not from ND, but I felt I spent a year and a half there (felt like a lifetime!) at the base in Minot. It was many years ago....but I can still feel the cold !!! LOL...I had this cranky old Opel that would hardly ever start in the brutal winter.....the anti-freeze even froze over the Christmas holiday...
Let me correct the color stated in my earlier post. They don't call it Fusion, but Sunburst Orange.Just read a review, and it wasn't entirely glowing. They said a 5'10" person barely had enough headroom. Hmm.....I'm 6'.
Have been lusting after a Vibe for 4 months now. Just haven't found the right price/model yet.Just read this post last night and happended to see an HHR in the parking lot at work today. In Fusion! Too a pretty good look at it, and can't beleive it, but I really liked it. May just look a little furt...
