mine threw a cel last week, the cause was a loose gas cap. I had it checked at a local auto parts place. he ran the code, and immediately went to the gas cap. no charge.

started the vibe Thursday to go to work and the CEL came on. checked some stuff, opened the gas lid and gave the cap a quick twist . . kinda felt like it wasn't snug, but not loose either.Went to O'Reily's on Saturday and the guy checked it and first thing he did was go to the gas cap. pulled it off...

I went to http://www.toyotafuelsavings.com and typed in my 05 vibe and it showed a Toyota Matrix fuel savings of $800 over 4 years versus the Vibe. I thought they were the same car ? !

if you don't want the "auto" headlights, just pop the sensor out and remove the plug. I used a small ziptie to the sensor to keep it from falling down behind he dash.

as usual I'm late to the party.my kid installed my cosmo on my 05 base and he fought with it getting in the opening behind the light, what he did was to loosen the panel in the wheel well while I slid the tube in he attached the filter and then it was man handling the assembly to get it to attach to...

I drove about 70 miles at 60mph on 4 lane highway then 45 miles at 65 mph on 2 lane highway, then did the reverse on the way home. 227 miles on 5.687 gallons. thanks for the replys, I figured it would not be a problemI was just asked because this car wash really puts out a ton of water with enough force that when it sprays the front and back ends, the whole car shakes.

My CAI from Cosmo should be here Tuesday, I'm on call and can't get to it until the weekend. a question, we have a car wash that just uses high pressure and lots of volume water, is there any problems with going in with a CAI ? should I have the engine off ?

the horn on my 02 VW Golf sounded like a "real" horn, a good loud American HONK. wonder if that'll work on the Vibe. I'm looking at upgrading my neep horn. I thought of getting a Ferrari horn, be really different. they are a two compressor horn. wouldn't that tweek Ferrari owner's shorts.

I ordered my Cosmo CAI (be here on the 30th) and would like to know if there are any installation problems or pitfalls I should be aware of ? how are the install instructions ?from what I saw in the picture, it looks like a straight foward remove the old and install the new.

just as the engine kicked over I heard a loud buzzing sound .. sounded like aluminium buzzing. I didn't hear it 3 other times starting the engine today.my warranty is almost up so I'm wondering if I should take it in to get it "on the record" in case of future problems.
