Id like some help on getting the right fluids for my first service interval on the car.
1.) Engine oil, specs and quantity
2.) Gearbox fluid, specs and quantity
3.) Coolant, specs and quantity
anyone have any experience with a midlength or longtube header on the 2zz ? i want to do a full exhaust on my 2003 vibe gt, and am planning on doing it in full stainless. im setup to weld with stainless wire and even have the proper trimix gas for my welder. appreciate any and all advice i can get.
jolts, why do you say i wont have to worry about the mileage on the odometer ? if the motor was built for 8,200 rpms, why wouldnt i be able to take it to 8,200 rpms ? constantly even ... ?
ok, let me clarify what i mean when i am asking "what to look for" i am mechanically inclined so i am comfortable doing everything down to a line hone on the crank journals if i had to. 8 years as a machinist and welder in the national guard. that being said, what are the service intervals...

im sure that the variable valve lift and timing system works. it definitely makes more power then any 4 cylinder vehicle ive ever owned, and it moves quite well. ill give it a good looking over once i get it to make sure there arent any bad rust areas.
